9 hole course

This advice is written for the player who will be aiming to reach the green in regulation. Between April and June the course can play much harder due to the rough. Players should also take into account the ever present winds on this seaside course.

Hole N° 1 Par 4

Aim for the red and white marker post. To the left, the rough is thick and out of bounds is nearby. The green is steeply sloping with borrows that are hard to read.

Hole N° 2 Par 3

There is no fairway on this par 3. The fence to the left marks the out of bounds. Take plenty of club!

Hole N° 3 Par 4

Uphill all the way with out of bounds to the left and thick rough to the right. The difficulty of this hole lies in its split level green. The green is steep and lots of players end up to-ing and fro-ing between the levels so take lots of care with putting here!

Hole N° 4 Par 4

Play for the marker post, admire the view of the beach and the sea but not from too close as there is out of bounds waiting for a wayward shot to the left. This is a relatively simple hole.

Hole N° 5 Par 3

Difficult, long par 3 with a green where the left hand side is on a much lower level to the right. Needs a long straight shot in.

Hole N° 6 Par 4

The drive is easy on this hole but watch out for the blind approach to the raised up green which has bunkers, trees and thick rough behind it.

Hole N° 7 Par 4

Play for the marker post. Slight dogleg right and uphill. Take one club extra for your second shot and then beware of the subtle borrows on the green.

Hole N° 8 Par 3

Par 3 drop hole with large bunker in front. A fun hole and good birdie chance.

Hole N° 9 Par 4

Long par 4 which usually requires a long second to the severely sloping green..
